Part 2 : General synopsis, Thursday 30 at 12 UTC
Low 1003 over Ligurian Sea, stationary, then deepening and moving between mainland and Corsica Friday evening, expected 1000 by 31/18 UTC. Atlantic ridge gradually building 1021or 1023 over Spain and
southwest of basin.

Part 3 : Area forecasts to Saturday 1 at 00 UTC
MINORQUE.
Variable 2 to 4 in north but West 4 to 6 in south, increasing North or Northwest 5 or 6 in northeast soon then 6 to 8 later, but Variable 2 to 4 mainly Westerly in southwest. Gusts increasing later in northeast.
Slight or moderate, becoming locally rough in northeast in midday, then very rough in extreme northeast at end. Scattered showers, locally thundery.

SARDAIGNE.
In north : West or Northwest 5 or 6, locally 7 in extreme north at first, veering Northwest at end of the morning, then increasing 6 or 7 from northwest in the afternoon, locally 8 in northwest. Gusts.
In south : Westerly 4 or 5, increasing temporarily 5 or 6 at end of the night, then veering Northwesterly later and increasing 5 or 6 at end, locally 7 in north. Gusts. Moderate, but rough in north, becoming locally very rough in extreme north at end. Showers locally thundery from north, clearing at end.

Part 4 : outlook for next 24 hours
Threat of Northwest gale or severe gale over Gulf of Lion. Variable Cyclonic flow moderate or fresh over northeast of basin. Increasing fresh or strong Westerly flow over southeast of basin with threat of near gale. Light or moderate Westerly flow over Alboran Sea.
